Solar-Powered IoT-Driven Systems

Our core technology starts with solar-powered IoT sensors that monitor critical farm conditions such as temperature, humidity, light intensity, and nutrient levels. These sensors enable real-time data collection while remaining completely off-grid, making them ideal for rural, urban, and peri-urban farmers alike.

AI and Machine Learning Integration

We harness AI and machine learning algorithms to translate collected sensor data into actionable insights. Farmers receive SMS or app alerts on irrigation needs, pest or disease risks, and nutrient optimization, helping them take timely corrective action.

Cloud: Our Digital Platform

Farmers access all their farm data through our FarmCloud platform, a user-friendly dashboard that provides:

Real-time monitoring of farm conditions - Crop traceability tools for compliance and export readiness - Direct connection to agronomists for live support and advice - Access to financing through farm performance data and credit scoring.

Crop Traceability & Resilience

Crop traceability is a core feature of our solution, ensuring farmers can meet global food safety standards and access higher-value markets. This capability is particularly important as smallholder farmers face increasing pressures from climate change impacts like droughts, floods, and unpredictable weather patterns. Our systems empower farmers to adapt, stay resilient, and thrive.

Our Products

In order to address the demands of our partners on a range of topics, including our primary emphasis areas, we can swiftly and efficiently assemble specialised teams.

Grow Towers
Grow Towers

This system uses interval-based misting to deliver water and nutrients directly to plant roots, embedded within the tower structure while stalks remain visible. The system’s embedded timer allows water to trickle down through each layer, providing roots with oxygen intervals that enhance growth. Ideal for lettuce and strawberries, each tower holds up to 80 plants, with plants maturing in 4 to 8 weeks depending on the type, allowing 7 to 8 cycles per year.

A-Frames
A-Frames

This system is designed to maximize vertical space by growing plants on an A-shaped frame. It operates with a steady flow of nutrient-rich water circulating through the system to ensure each plant receives optimal hydration and nutrients. The open design promotes airflow around the plants, supporting faster growth. Ideal for leafy greens and herbs, each A-frame can hold up to 160 plants, reaching maturity in 4 to 6 weeks and allowing for up to 9 harvest cycles per year.

Dutch Buckets
Dutch Buckets

Tailored for larger plants, this system delivers nutrient-dense water directly to each plant’s root zone, minimizing water waste and ensuring optimal nutrient absorption. Equipped with a recirculation system, it’s ideal for tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers. Each Dutch bucket can hold one large or two medium-sized plants, with crops maturing in 8 to 12 weeks, supporting multiple harvests per season.

Fodder Systems
Fodder Systems

This efficient system is specialized for hydroponic fodder production, providing a high-nutrient feed source for livestock. Seeds are placed on trays, and water is periodically misted to promote sprouting without soil. Each system produces a batch of nutrient-rich fodder within 6 to 8 days, supplying a continuous feed option for livestock in regions with limited grazing resources.

What we measure — every 60 seconds

01

  • Root-zone EC & pH → nutrient balance
  • Water-level & flow → irrigation status
  • Air temperature & humidity → disease risk
  • Ambient light & CO₂ → photosynthetic health
  • HD leaf-camera snapshots → colour and lesion detection

How we act — in real time

02

  • Auto-dose nutrients or pH buffer when thresholds drift
  • Pulse the pump to re-oxygenate roots and top up water
  • Spin fans or open vents if humidity stays >85 %
  • Trigger LED boost on cloudy days
  • Send an instant SMS/WhatsApp alert with a one-tap remedy if the camera flags stress (e.g., suggest neem spray for early mildew)

Result: up to 8× higher yield with 90 % less water, while farmers manage the entire system from their phone.
